Car Detailing in Kendall: How to Pick the Right Package
Not sure which detail your car needs? Here is how to match the Maintenance, Premium, and Deep Clean packages to how your Kendall car has actually been treated, with real prices and times.
Kendall covers a lot of ground, from the townhome clusters off Killian to the older driveways around the Hammocks, and the cars parked in it take a beating that has nothing to do with mileage. If you are shopping for car detailing in Kendall and cannot tell whether your car needs an $80 Maintenance Detail or a $220 Deep Clean, the honest answer has less to do with the make of the car and more to do with how it has been treated since the last time anyone cleaned it properly. Here is how to sort that out before you book.
What has your car actually been through?
Prices look arbitrary until you put cars into three groups. The first group gets washed regularly, lives in a garage or under a carport, and mostly needs the grime knocked back and the interior reset. The second group has been sitting outside for a season or two: sprinkler overspray has left hard water spots on the paint and glass, a ficus or oak has dropped sap and bird droppings on the hood, and the interior has picked up dust, crumbs, and a general dullness. The third group has real damage on the surfaces: ground-in stains on the seats and carpet, sticky door pockets and cupholders, a smell that does not go away when you open the windows, or paint that feels rough to the fingertips.
Those three groups line up almost exactly with the three packages. The craft is the same either way. What changes is how many stages the car needs and how long it takes.
Maintenance, Premium, or Deep Clean?
Maintenance Detail
This is upkeep for a car that is already in decent shape: hand wash, wheels and tires, glass, a vacuum, and a wipe down of the interior surfaces. It runs about 1.5 to 2 hours. If you have your car cleaned every four to six weeks, this is the one you keep on repeat, and it is the wrong choice if you are trying to undo a year of neglect in a single visit.
Premium Detail
The middle package is for the car that has been living outdoors and looks tired but is not damaged. It adds real attention to the paint and a deeper interior cleaning, and it takes about 2.5 to 3 hours. This is usually the right call before a family trip, before photos for a private sale, or when you have simply gone too long between cleanings and want the car to feel new again rather than just look rinsed.
Deep Clean
The Deep Clean is a reset. It is a 3.5 to 4 hour job built for interiors that need work: stains that have set, sand and dirt worked into the carpet fibers, plastics that have gone sticky, and trim seams that hold dust. If you are handing a car back at lease end, cleaning up after a season of road trips, or dealing with a car that has carried kids, sports gear, and beach days for years, start here instead of paying twice.
How much does car detailing in Kendall cost?
Every package is priced by vehicle size, and the number you are quoted is the number you pay. Kendall sits well inside the service area we cover from our base in Hialeah, so there is no travel surcharge.
| Package | Sedan | SUV | Truck | Time |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Maintenance Detail | $80 | $100 | $120 | 1.5 to 2 hours |
| Premium Detail | $150 | $180 | $210 | 2.5 to 3 hours |
| Deep Clean | $220 | $250 | $280 | 3.5 to 4 hours |
Some work does not fit a fixed price and gets quoted per vehicle once we see the car or clear photos of it: ceramic coating, headlight restoration, one-step paint enhancement, ozone odor removal, and seat shampoo with extraction. The full list of packages and specialty work is on our detailing services and pricing page.
What about pet hair, spills, and stubborn odors?
Those are add-ons, priced on top of whichever package you choose, because the effort varies enormously from one car to the next. A short-haired dog that rides in a cargo area is a different job from a shedding retriever that sits on cloth seats.
- Pet hair removal: $30 to $70, depending on how deep the hair is embedded
- Biological spill removal: $40 to $80
- Headliner cleaning: $30 to $80
- Steam engine bay cleaning: $40 sedan, $50 SUV, $60 truck
One note on engine bays, since it matters in a humid climate where connectors and grounds corrode: we clean them with steam, never a pressure washer. Steam lifts oily film and road dust without forcing water into places it should not go.
Does mobile detailing work in a Kendall driveway or townhome lot?
Usually, yes. A single-family driveway off Sunset or Killian is ideal, and shade helps on a hot afternoon. Townhome and condo residents should check two things before booking: whether the community allows vehicle cleaning in the lot, and whether there is a space where the car can sit for the length of the appointment without blocking anyone. Tell us the parking situation when you book, including whether the spot is covered or in the open, and we will plan around it.
The service is fully mobile, so the car stays with you the whole time. Appointments run Monday through Sunday, 8am to 6pm, and mornings tend to be the most comfortable stretch of the day in a Miami summer. Send a couple of photos of the interior and the paint when you reach out and you will get a specific recommendation instead of a guess. If you would rather write out the details, use the booking and quote request form.
